William Carr, DMA, professor of Music at Immaculata University and Steinway Artist, will perform during Saturday Night at the Steinway Piano on Saturday, June 6, at 7:30 p.m. at the Cape May Convention Center. Dr. Carr is one of seven artists participating in Steinway & Sons Comes to Cape May, a four-day event benefiting the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
Immaculata University is offering a Summer Writing Institute for sophomores, juniors, and seniors in high school who want to prepare for college-level writing while engaging in a community of enthusiastic writers. This two-week program is available from July 6, through July 17, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (Monday through Friday) on the campus of Immaculata, near Malvern, PA.
Beginning this Fall, Immaculata University is offering its accelerated bachelor's degree in Business Management at the University Center @ Manor College. A new cohort of students will be accepted for classes starting in August 2015.
Immaculata University student Kareemah Parker '15 of Philadelphia, was awarded the 2015 Pennsylvania Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics "Outstanding Dietetics Student Award for the Didactic Program" category.
Anne Marie DeCarolis '17 of Nottingham, PA, was awarded the "Philly's Future" Scholarship from the Philly Ad Club, a trade association of advertising, media, creative, marketing, and public relations professionals. DeCarolis, a marketing management and business management dual major, was one of seven students in the Philadelphia area selected for the scholarship in recognition of her achievements in advertising and communication.
Starting this fall, Immaculata University will offer a new major in Interactive Digital Media (IDM) leading to a Bachelor of Science degree. Students will benefit from an equal balance of both the technical aspects of digital media and the creative design that is rarely offered in one major.
