The Department of Nutrition and Dietetics has been preparing professionals in this field for over seventy years. Education for management careers in the food industry was added to the curriculum over twenty years ago. An experienced faculty together with a network of Immaculata University graduates provides educational experiences both in the classroom and in the work environment.

Nutrition/Dietetics and Food Service Management

The Nutrition/Dietetics and Food Service Management majors are designed to prepare you for careers in the field of nutrition and in the food industry. Nutrition/Dietetics will provide you with skills in medical nutrition therapy, education, community nutrition, research, and management and can prepare you for application to a dietetic internship. Food Service Management students combine the study of foods and nutrition with a more in-depth approach to business within the food industry.
