Welcome prospective students, new students, and transfer students: Please use this site to familiarize yourself with our Department policies, to download necessary forms (Course Sequence Sheets or Field Contract Forms [see links on the right-hand side of this screen]) to have at your fingertips as well as access Department Faculty information, list of Field Sites for Social Work/ Criminology majors, list of local graduate schools and Career resource guides. Sociology Majors: Please note that there are sections of this site that can help guide you, such as the section on Department Policies. Here, you can learn which options you have with distribution requirements or how to obtain an independent study, what to do if interested in taking summer courses, or what is expected of you in Sociology classes or where to go if you need assistance. Our section on Advisement can prepare you for your semester meetings with your Faculty Advisor with whom you meet twice a year. Most Sociology courses are web-enhanced. And several of the required courses are offered both online and in the classroom.
