The College of Undergraduate Studies provides a strong liberal arts foundation in preparation for entry into the world of work or further study in professional or graduate school. The core curriculum focuses on the following: the knowledge of human cultures; the physical and natural world; intellectual and practical skills such as oral and written communication; personal and social responsibility; and integrative learning.
Fifty-three majors and thirty-nine minors are offered through seventeen departments; this provides numerous exciting opportunities for “mixing and matching” majors and minors.
In addition to providing a strong academic program, the College of Undergraduate Studies is also committed to the development of the whole person by providing opportunities for students to grow through participation in collegiate athletics, campus leadership and community service.
