The History, Politics, and International Relations Department at Immaculata University aims:

  • To develop the student's critical and analytical ability to comprehend the complexity of contemporary national and international issues and to respond to the human condition in an informed manner.
  • To foster an understanding of the past's relationship with the present and to provide a liberal education for graduate study and career preparation.
  • To secure an appreciation of the influence of Christianity and of the diverse cultures that have contributed to the transmission of the human heritage.
