Throughout her career, Schooling has held various education-related positions, including federal programs coordinator, early childhood and K-12 literacy coordinator, elementary assistant principal and principal, and speech language pathologist, all within the School District of Lancaster, PA. Schooling also served as director of professional development as well as director of teaching, learning, and development for Learning Sciences International in York, PA. In addition, she has served as an adjunct faculty member at several colleges and universities throughout the region.
Schooling has written for various journals and publications on topics such as Ten Tips for Maintaining a Visible Presence the Classrooms, Stuttering Prevention and Detection, and most recently Comparing Teacher Evaluation Models. She has also received several honors during her career including the Army Community Service Award, and the Good Schools Pennsylvania (for full-day kindergarten), and awards for Continuing Education from American Speech Hearing Association (ASHA).
