Dean of Students

You are here

The Office of the Dean of Students exists to create a University community that is student centered and welcoming. In our student centered community, the Dean of Students unit collaborates to assist students in understanding life transitions and assessing personal growth and development through student advocacy, involvement, and engagement.

The dean of students encourages all students to:

Be responsible – As young adults, you are engaged in a vibrant community enriched with history and tradition. You will gain your education in the classroom, in the residence halls, on the athletic fields, and among your friends and peers. Make strong, sensible decisions that support your academic goals and your growth and development.

Challenge yourself – As you find yourself surrounded by new ideas and people – some of whom will be different from you – take the opportunity to learn more about them and their ideas, and you will broaden your own. As adults, we all find ourselves lost, afraid, or unsure from time to time, but as you face these challenges, the Immaculata community will support and guide you.

Grow – If you complete the first two, this one will be achieved.
