Resident students, Open Room Change Period is a process for resident students to switch rooms/roommates “no questions asked.” Any other requests for room changes outside of this time period will require a mediation process with Residence Life and Housing staff. Open Room Change occurs at the begining of each semester; dates will be published by RLH.
NOTE: Students can only request a change for themselves and cannot have another student moved.
If you are looking for a room change, but have been unable to locate a specific room or roommate, you are welcome to stop by Residence Life and Housing to request assistance in determining potential options.
Students must obtain a form to request a change in assignment that will require signatures of those impacted by the change.
Requests will be accepted during published dates of Open Room Change Period.
If approved, all changes and moves will be coordinated with staff in Residence Life and Housing.
